Drawing class

Drawing Class

We learned a lot of valuable things in drawing class this spring

1. We learned about tools. We tried some H pencils and some B pencils and discussed the difference and how we could use them in our work.

2. We used kneaded erasers and discovered some benefits like lifting and erasing in tight spaces. Plus they are fun to play with while you think.

3. We worked with ink in this class, very different than pencil.

We did some fun Zentangle like drawings in ink!

We learned about value scales.

And how adding value changes shapes to forms.

We did a fun project where we took an image from a magazine and finished it in pencil or ink or both!

Paper Mache Summer Art

We had another great paper mache class this summer!

Follow the photos to see the progression of our fantastic animals! The kids were so creative and patient with the process and their work paid off in the end.

OUR STRUCTURES

ALL PASTED UP!

They already have so much personality!
